TheraRide 3-Degree Wedge Pads

TheraRide 3-Degree Wedge Pads are heel wedges in hard-wearing TPU for the Scootboot TheraRide. The wedge pads give targeted support during rehabilitation and corrective trimming. The pack contains two wedge pads, in other words one for each boot in a pair. The name 3-Degree means that the wedge has a three-degree angle.

Why choose TheraRide Wedge Pads

Raise the heels. The wedge pads lift the heels by three degrees, which is particularly useful for underrun heels.
Shock-absorbing. In addition, the TPU reduces concussion to the hoof capsule.
May relieve tendons. According to the manufacturer, the wedge pads may also help relieve tendons, as part of a rehabilitation plan for certain hoof conditions.
Hard-wearing TPU. In fact, the material stands up to a lot of wear.

How to use TheraRide Wedge Pads

The TheraRide has a recessed sole, so you can change the pad inside the boot to suit your horse’s needs. They are one of the pads you can choose, so you can switch between them and the other pads that come with the boots. The boots come with Therapy Pads and Standard Pads, while you buy the wedges separately. Ideally, use them as part of a rehabilitation plan together with your vet or farrier.

Choose your size
