Terms of purchase
To shop in the store, you must by law be 18 years of age or older.

Prices and payment
Each item on www.scootboots.se is listed with price including VAT. In the shopping cart you can see the total price including all fees, VAT, shipping and payment. Payment terms are specified in the shopping cart depending on the chosen payment method.

We offer free shipping and returns within Sweden. For orders outside Sweden a shipping fee of 200SEK will be added and we will not offer free returns. You will be notified by text message or email when it is time to pick up your item in cases when your order is sent to a pic up place.

Payment is made via our payment partner Payson. With Payson, you pay easily and securely. Choose to complete the purchase directly with VISA, MasterCard or bank transfer, or pay in arrears on invoice or partial payment. Read more at www.payson.se.

Invoice payment
We offer invoice payment in collaboration with Payson AB within Sweden.

Payment terms are 14 days. To be able to make an order with invoice payment, you must be 18 years of age, be registered in Sweden and approved in the credit assessment made. Companies must be registered in Sweden to be eligible for invoice payment, and must pay the invoice within 30 days. The invoice will be sent separately by e-mail to the e-mail address you enter at the time of purchase. In the event of late payment, a payment reminder will be sent, in which case a statutory reminder fee of SEK 60 will be added. We also charge interest on overdue invoices at 2% per month from the due date of the invoice. In the event of continued non-payment, the case will be submitted for debt collection, whereby a statutory collection fee of currently SEK 180 will be added. Payson reserves the right in individual cases to refuse delivery and
reconsider the customer’s creditworthiness.

Cancellation
You have a right to cancel your order for 14 days (cancellation period). To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the order by a clear statement, via text message or e-mail. The cancellation period begins the day you received your order.

Your cancellation right expires if
The product is visibly used, scratched, dirty and/or labels are missing. Or if a product has been deformed or manipulated, by stud insertion for example. Or if the boots have been modified with, for example, a heat gun.

To retain your cancellation right
You are obliged to maintain the product in the same unspoiled condition as when you received it. You must not use it in way that leaves marks, but of course you are allowed to carefully examine it. If the product is damaged or lost, you lose the right of cancellation or change.

Change of size / return
If you wish to change the size or return the product, you need to send the item back to us within the cancellation period. Fill in the enclosed return slip and state there whether you wish to change size or cancel the purchase. Use the enclosed consignment note. The right to return or exchange goods is valid within 14 days of you receiving the goods. You then place a new order for the wished new item/size in the web shop. Refund is made via Payson after we have received and approved the return.

Failing to return the boots unspoiled may result in refund deduction.

Boot try-on
You can try out your Scoot Boots on the hoof, but do not ride or let the horse walk around with them. When you fit your Scoots for the first time, you must ensure that your horse’s hooves are clean and that your horse is standing on a clean, dry surface. We advise to cover the ground under the horse with a board of some kind, to prevent scraping or pawing marks on the boots, and to use a sock or plastic bag on the
hoof. Do not try out the boots in a box with bedding. Do not open the enclosed brochures, accessories or peel of labels until you know the boots are of the right size. If you want to change or return the boots they must be in mint condition, otherwise a fee/refund deduction may incur.

If returning visibly tested / scratched boots or incomplete by means of accessories and / or labels, you will be offered to get the item back at a shipping cost or we keep the item for a deduction/fee that corresponds to the depreciation in value, handling and shipping costs.

Warranty and repair
In case of any reclamations, please contact info@scootboots.se. The Warranty period for Scoot Boots is usually 90 days from the date the boots are purchased. The Swedish Purchase law applies. The warranty does not apply in the event of wear and tear, mismanagement of the product, or accidents appearing after the product is received. The guarantee also does not apply to purchases of the wrong size that appear after the boots have been used. Guarantee measures typically consist of repairs at the seller’s expense, price reduction, exchange of goods or alternative repurchase.

A defective product must be reported within a reasonable time. This is a maximum of 2 months after the defect was discovered, as that is what the law calls "within a reasonable time. After a reclamation has been approved, the product is replaced with a new one or with a credit. After a reclamation has been approved, the seller is responsible for the shipping cost.

Privacy Policy
When you place an order with us, you provide us with your personal information. When you register and place an order, you agree that we store and use your information in our systems in order to fulfil our services to you.

The Privacy Act allows you to get access to, and rectify (modify or correct), or delete the personal information we hold about you. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at info@scootboots.se.

This web shop uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer that contains information to help the web shop identify and track users. Cookies are available as session cookies and as cookies that are stored permanently on your computer. During your first visit to the online store, your browser will be assigned a session cookie that is unique and used to not confuse you as a user with other users. In order to use the web shop, you should allow cookies in your browser. This type of cookie is only used to give you as a visitor a better experience and support, and does not store any personal information about you. Cookies can be deleted. In this web shop, cookies are used, for example, to keep track of your shopping cart, your
settings and which pages you have visited in order to give you a better customer experience and support.

Shipping and Delivery Times
The expected delivery time for products in stock is 2-5 working days, within Sweden. Out of stock products have to be ordered and have a longer delivery time. Deviations regarding delivery time may occur.

Free shipping within Sweden.
Delivery and Non-retrieved Orders Orders weighing less than 2 kg are delivered to your mailbox. If this is not possible, the order will be delivered to your nearest post office agent. Orders exceeding 2 kg are delivered to your nearest PortNord agent. Non-retrieved goods are returned to us. For all packages that are not retrieved, we reserve the right to charge delivery costs for the return, and fees for administration and handling, currently SEK 200.

Refund Liability
Scootboots Scandinavia will, if you have exercised your right of cancellation, refund you as soon as possible or no later than within 30 days from the day we received the product or, if it is a service, the notification about your cancellation. The total value of the refund will equal the payment made, excluding the delivery costs for the return, which are to be borne by the purchaser. Exceptions to this rule are so-called replacement goods, for which Scootboots Scandinavia always pays the return cost.
