Endurance Gaiters are made of neoprene and protect sensitive skin from rubbing. In particular, they protect the lower back of the pastern and the rear coronet area. The pack contains two gaiters.
Why choose Endurance Gaiters
- Protection from rubbing. The neoprene protects sensitive skin, for example on long rides.
- For long distances. They suit horses with sensitive skin as well as endurance horses travelling long distances.
- Best with Mud Straps. Combine them with Mud Straps, because that gives the best support.
Sizes for Endurance Gaiters
The size follows the size of your boots:
- S – boots in size 0–2
- M – boots in size 3–5
- L – boots in size 6–9
- XL – boots in size 10–11
Unsure of the size? Then you will find all measurements in our size chart.
How to put on the gaiter
The video below shows you how. You will also find more videos about boots and accessories on our Instruction videos page.
Does your horse need gaiters?
Most horses manage without gaiters, because a correctly sized Scootboot should not rub. If the boots still rub, the size may be wrong, the pastern strap may not be secured correctly, or your horse may need extra protection. Therefore, first check the size and fit with our fitting guide. Also break in new boots gradually, because otherwise they can rub.
Other gaiters
Trail Gaiters protect the top of the heel bulbs and are a good choice while your horse gets used to new boots. In addition, there are MultiPurpose Gaiters, which fit all Scootboot models and protect the pastern and heel bulb area.
