Mud Strap
The Scoot Mud Strap is designed for riding in extreme terrain. The mud strap provides extra security in deep mud and more demanding terrain. The strap also helps in cases where horses tread on themselves. Made of extremely durable TPU, the Scoot Mud Strap is flexible and gentle on the horse’s skin when fitted correctly.

You can boil the mud straps in water and stretch them if you want slightly longer straps.

XXS fits Scoot Boot 00, 0
XS fits Scoot Boot 1, 2
S fits Scoot Boot 3, 4
M fits Scoot Boot 5, 6
L fits Scoot Boot 7
XL fits Scoot Boot 8
XXL fits Scoot Boot 9
XXXL fits Scoot Boot 10, 11
NOTE — leg size varies greatly between horses. If you find the Mud Straps too small, you can easily stretch the strap 10 mm, which equals the next size up. Do it like this: lengthen the Mud Strap
If the Mud Strap can easily be pulled down to the hoof edge, the Mud Strap is too big and risks coming loose at the slightest strain.
If you cannot easily fit a finger between the strap and the skin, the Mud Strap is too small and will increase the risk of chafing.
