Hybrid Gaiters

Hybrid Gaiters are a cut-down version of Endurance Gaiters. They protect the rear part of the hoof and also keep it cooler in hot climates. You can also glue them to the boot for extra stability. The pack contains two gaiters.

Why choose Hybrid Gaiters

• Protection at the rear. The gaiter protects the rear quarter of the hoof.
• Cooler in the heat. In fact, it keeps the hoof cooler in hot climates.
• Extra stability. In addition, gluing the gaiter to the boot gives extra stability.
• Shorter model. In other words, it is a smaller version of the Endurance Gaiter.

Hybrid Gaiters sizes

The gaiter size follows the size of your Scootboot Classic:

• XS – Scootboot size 000–00
• S – Scootboot size 0–2
• M – Scootboot size 3–5
• L – Scootboot size 6–9
• XL – Scootboot size 10–11

Does your horse need gaiters?

According to the manufacturer, horses usually need gaiters if they have sensitive skin or travel long distances. However, a correctly sized Scootboot should not rub. Therefore, first check the size and fit with our fitting guide.

Other gaiters

Endurance Gaiters protect the lower back of the pastern and the rear coronet area. Trail Gaiters, on the other hand, protect the top of the heel bulbs. In addition, there are MultiPurpose Gaiters, which fit all Scootboot models.
