Avoid slipping with studs. You need a drill driver and a 4.5 mm drill bit to pre-drill before inserting the studs. Do not pre-drill right through the sole — only a couple of millimetres in. See the instruction video below. The studs come in three sizes; which size you need depends on the thickness of the sole — see the size chart.
