Ice Stud Pack

The Ice Stud Pack contains ice studs for your Scootboots. You screw them into the sole, and as a result your horse gets better traction on slippery surfaces, such as ice. The pack contains 20 studs and one stud key for your drill driver.

Choose the size of your ice studs

The studs come in three sizes. The size you need depends on the thickness of the sole, so the stud size follows the size of your boots:

• Standard – Scootboots size 4–11
• Small – Scootboots size 000–3
• Mini – Scootboots size M00–M3

What you need

• a drill driver
• a 4.5 mm drill bit
• the stud key (included)

The stud key comes in the pack. However, you need your own drill driver and drill bit.

How to fit the studs

1. First, pre-drill a hole with the drill driver and the 4.5 mm bit. Only drill a couple of millimetres in, and never right through the sole.
2. Then put the stud key in the drill driver.
3. Finally, screw the stud into the hole.

Bigger studs

If you would rather fit studs with drive-in nuts, there are Big Ice Studs 4 pcs. There, you screw the stud into a drive-in nut that sits firmly in the sole.
