EQUNIQUE® Zinc Spray for Hoof & Skin is a zinc spray for your horse that you use in the daily care of both hooves and skin. The spray contains zinc oxide, lanolin and allantoin in a formula that supports, protects and moisturises. The bottle holds 200 ml.

How to use zinc spray on your horse
Hoof care: First, clean the hoof thoroughly. Then apply the zinc spray as part of the daily hoof care.
Skin care: Spray the exposed area twice a day.
A zinc spray for your horse is therefore a good product to keep in the stable first aid kit. However, does your horse have wounds, skin problems that do not clear up or lameness? Then always let a vet examine it.
The ingredients in the zinc spray
- Zinc oxide – a white mineral powder that many ointments and creams contain.
- Lanolin – a natural fat from sheep’s wool.
- Allantoin – a substance that many skin care products contain.
Safety
The zinc spray is an aerosol, in other words a spray bottle with propellant gas under pressure. The propellant is butane and propane, and among other things the spray also contains ethanol. Signal word: Danger.
- Extremely flammable aerosol.
- Pressurised container: may burst if heated.
- Causes serious eye irritation.
- Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
Keep the bottle away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources, and do not smoke while using it. Also do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn the bottle, even after use. In addition, protect it from sunlight and do not expose it to temperatures exceeding 50 °C. Avoid release to the environment and collect spillage.
If in eyes: rinse with water with the eyelids open for a sufficient length of time. Then consult an eye doctor immediately. If on skin: wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.
