EQUNIQUE 2K URETHANE GLUE BLACK 50ML – TO GLUE ON BAREFOOT PAD

Key features and benefits:

• Balanced curing: cures in a few minutes, giving you time to finish the job.
• Durability and flexibility: the urethane-based formula creates a tough, flexible bond that follows the hoof’s natural expansion and contraction, promoting comfort and reducing the risk of cracking or detachment.
• User-friendly: a two-component (2K) system that mixes easily for optimal performance. Suitable for professional farriers and experienced horse owners alike.
• Compatibility: specially recommended for the EQUNIQUE Glue On Barefoot Pad, which offers added comfort, protection against terrain and grip (including the option of ice studs for winter).
• Safety and quality: manufactured within the EU.

Use and application:

NOTE: always use a face mask, safety glasses and disposable gloves when handling adhesive.

1. Prepare the hoof: clean with alcohol and dry the hoof thoroughly for the best adhesion.
2. Use a glue gun: combine the two components using a glue gun and mixing tip.
3. Apply: spread the adhesive evenly on the underside of the pad or the sole of the hoof and press firmly against the hoof. Hold in position for 60 seconds for full curing. Plastic film is helpful here.
4. Finishing: check the fit and grind away any excess adhesive. Pro tip: use in combination with EQUNIQUE hoof care products such as Hoof Tar Spray or Zinc Paste.
