EQUNIQUE® Total Support

EQUNIQUE® Total Support is a finely ground natural mineral for horses. Total Support consists of 100% natural zeolite of sedimentary origin, and the active mineral is clinoptilolite. The clinoptilolite content is 92%, and EQUNIQUE promises at least 80%. You give the mineral in the daily feed.

Why choose Total Support with clinoptilolite

• Finely ground. The particle size is below 200 µm, in other words less than 0.2 mm.

What is clinoptilolite?

Zeolite is a group name for minerals with a porous crystal structure, and clinoptilolite is one of them. The mineral in Total Support comes from Gördes in Turkey. In the EU, clinoptilolite of sedimentary origin is an approved feed additive for all animal species. It belongs to the technological additives, in the functional group of binders and anti-caking agents. In addition, the mineral provides no energy and passes through the gastrointestinal tract without the body absorbing it.

Total Support feeding recommendation

As a maintenance dose, give 80 g (1 dl) per day to a 500 kg horse, in other words 16 g per 100 kg of body weight. You can also double the dose. Ideally, divide the daily dose into two servings, for example morning and evening. The mineral is easiest to feed in soaked feed. At the same time, make sure your horse always has free access to fresh water.

Storage

Store Total Support dry and cool in a tightly closed package, away from direct sunlight.

The mineral is a feed supplement, not a treatment. Therefore, always contact a vet if your horse shows signs of illness.
