They are for horses with sore soles or work as a filler when your horse is between two sizes. The pack contains four pads.<\/p>\n<h2>When does your horse need Scoot Pads?<\/h2>\n<p>Most horses do not need pads in their Scootboots. Therefore, we only recommend pads for one of these two reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sore soles.<\/strong> The pad gives relief to horses with sensitive soles.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Between two sizes.<\/strong> The pad fills out the boot and thus gives a firmer fit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep in mind that pads can affect the fit. In other words, you may need to go up a boot size.<\/p>\n<h2>Size and thickness of Scoot Pads<\/h2>\n<p>The size of Scoot Pads follows the same size chart as the boots, so choose the same size as your boots. Sizes 000\u20132 are 3 mm thick and sizes 3\u20139 are 4 mm thick. If you have the slim model, you also need to trim the pad to fit the boot.
