Scootboots are made of thermoplastic urethane which is abbreviated TPU. The material is extremely durable and antibacterial, which means that no bacteria can attach or thrive in the material.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Scootboots’ lifespan varies depending on the horse’s weight, the surface on which they are used, gait and movement patterns and how you care for your boots. On average, a pass holds Scootboots for about 100 miles.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Regular and Slim are the same length but different widths.<\/p>

Models slim are 10mm narrower than regular and are thus often used for the horse’s rear hooves.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Scootboots can be used around the clock. Daily hoof care applies as usual with inspection and cleaning of the hooves. The boots should be familiar and well fitted before you let them sit around the clock. All new Scootboots must have time to be shaped according to the individual hoof before they are left for a longer period of time. Scootboots need to get used to, just like a pair of new shoes for our own feet. Use the boots for a short time until they have been shaped and stretched according to your horse’s hoof shape. Scootboots stretch after use and reshape after the hoof.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

A barefoot hoof is very individual and there are many parameters that affect the growth and quality of the hoof. We recommend intervals of 4-6 weeks between effects. Better a poor horse than no horse at all.<\/p>\n

For us, it is important that our retailers are confident about the products and therefore we offer a digital product training for all new retailers.<\/p>
