Terms and conditions for private customers<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. General<\/strong><\/p>\n

These terms and conditions apply when you, as a private individual, shop at www.scootboots.se. The web shop is operated by Uddens Sj\u00f6g\u00e5rd AB (see Company information at the bottom). You must be at least 18 years old to shop with us.<\/p>\n

You add the items to your cart and go to checkout. There you fill in your details, choose delivery and payment method, and can review and change your order before you confirm the purchase. When we have received your order, you will get an order confirmation by email. Please save it. These terms are always available on this page, in Swedish and English.<\/p>\n

2. Prices and payment<\/strong><\/p>\n

All prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) including VAT. At checkout you can see the total price including VAT, shipping and any fees before you complete your purchase.<\/p>\n

You pay at checkout with the payment methods shown there. Which methods are shown depends on the delivery country and on your device. Through our payment partner Svea you can, for deliveries within Sweden, pay by card (Visa, Mastercard), Swish, invoice, part payment or direct bank payment. For deliveries to other countries you pay by card. You can also pay with PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.<\/p>\n

Payment by invoice<\/strong>
Payment by invoice is offered within Sweden in cooperation with Svea. The invoice is assigned to Svea Bank AB (publ), reg. no. 556158-7634, and must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date. To pay by invoice you must be at least 18 years old, be registered as resident in Sweden and be approved in Svea\u2019s credit check. The invoice is sent by email to the address you give when ordering. Late payment incurs a statutory reminder fee and late-payment interest according to Svea\u2019s terms, which are shown at checkout. If you have withdrawn from the purchase or made a complaint, contact us before the invoice is due so that it can be credited or the payment postponed.<\/p>\n

3. Delivery and shipping<\/strong><\/p>\n

We ship from our warehouse in V\u00e4rnamo, Sweden. Normal delivery time for items in stock is 1\u20133 working days within Sweden, 3\u20135 working days to the rest of Europe and 5\u20136 working days to the rest of the world (local variations may occur). If an item is delayed, we will let you know as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Shipping within Sweden costs SEK 59 per order. For orders of SEK 2,500 or more within Sweden, shipping is free. Shipping costs to other countries are calculated and shown at checkout. You choose the delivery method at checkout. If your parcel is sent to a pick-up point, you will receive a text message or email when it is ready for collection.<\/p>\n

For deliveries outside the EU, for example to Norway, customs duties, import VAT and fees may apply. These are paid by the recipient.<\/p>\n

4. Uncollected parcels<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parcels that are not collected are returned to us. We then reserve the right to charge you for return shipping, administration and handling, currently SEK 200.<\/p>\n

5. Right of withdrawal<\/strong><\/p>\n

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen), counted from the day you received the goods. The easiest way to withdraw is via our online form on the page Withdraw from your purchase<\/a> \u2013 you will receive a confirmation immediately. The model withdrawal form is also available there. You can also notify us in another clear way, for example by email to info@scootboots.se.<\/p>\n

Send the goods back no later than 14 days after you have told us that you are withdrawing from the purchase. Use a trackable shipping method and send the parcel directly to: Scootboots c\/o Swedcirc AB, Silkesv\u00e4gen 43, 331 53 V\u00e4rnamo, Sweden. Do not send it to a pick-up point, as such parcels will not be collected. You pay the return shipping.<\/p>\n

If you withdraw from the whole purchase, we refund the price of the goods and your original shipping cost, up to the cost of our cheapest standard delivery. If you withdraw from only part of the purchase, we refund the price of the goods you send back. We refund you no later than 14 days after we received your notice of withdrawal, but we may wait until we have received the goods back or you have shown that you have sent them. The refund is made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.<\/p>\n

To change size, return the item as described above and place a new order for the right size in the web shop.<\/p>\n

6. Trying on and condition of the goods<\/strong><\/p>\n

You may try on Scootboots, but not ride in them or let the horse walk around in them. Try them on a clean surface free from grit: put a large board or towel on the floor so that the horse does not scrape the boots against the concrete, and put a plastic bag and\/or sock around the hoof before trying them on. Do not try the boots in the stable box, as bedding easily soils them. Do not open enclosed brochures, labels or accessories until you know the boots are the right size.<\/p>\n

You may examine the goods as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, and can then return them without any deduction. If the goods have been handled beyond that \u2013 for example ridden in, studded, fitted with ice studs or reshaped with a heat gun or boiling water \u2013 so that they have become scratched, dirty or have otherwise lost value, we will deduct an amount corresponding to the loss in value from the refund. The same applies if accessories, manuals or labels are missing. You still keep your right of withdrawal.<\/p>\n

7. Complaints and warranty<\/strong><\/p>\n

You have the right to complain about defects under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentk\u00f6plagen). This means you can complain about defects that existed when you received the goods for up to three years from receipt. Complain within a reasonable time after noticing the defect; a complaint made within two months of noticing the defect is always considered to be in time. Contact us at info@scootboots.se before returning the item and enclose your order number, photos and a description of the defect. If the goods are defective, we pay the return shipping, and you get the goods repaired or replaced, or your money back in full or in part. In addition to your statutory rights, the manufacturer Scootboot Pty Ltd gives a warranty of 90 days from the date of purchase. The warranty does not limit your rights under the Consumer Sales Act. It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse or abusive use, exposure to corrosive conditions, detergents or chemicals such as fly or mosquito spray, non-standard or incompatible parts, repairs or modifications, custom fitting with a heat gun, incorrect sizing, or studs other than those recommended by Scootboot. 8. Personal data and cookies<\/strong><\/p>\n

We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in order to fulfil your purchase. The web shop uses cookies, for example to keep track of your shopping cart. Read more in our privacy policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

9. Dispute resolution<\/strong><\/p>\n

Swedish law applies. If you live in another country, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence. We will first try to resolve any dispute together with you. If we cannot reach an agreement, you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), www.arn.se<\/a>.<\/p>\n

10. Changes to these terms<\/strong><\/p>\n

We reserve the right to change these terms. Changes are announced on the website and apply from the date of publication. Your purchase is governed by the terms that applied when you placed your order.<\/p>\n
